Ok it is HOT, but it works, for me ....... I have done every exercise there is I'm sure, however, when I decided to try Yoga some years ago I my body LOVED it. I have tried several styles, but have come back to Bikram. Bikram and HOT yoga are different. If you try Bikram make sure it is with a Bikram Trained teacher, you will soon see why.
Bikram sheds not only weight, but depression, and other undesired ailments.......
I am off to India in July to do a yoga course and I will be posting events from this journey, so stay tuned...
Let me know about your Yoga experience and how it has changed your health.

Wendy, this YOGA thing looks like fun!
Well as you know Wendy I am into Ashtanga Yoga, which is also a rather energetic yoga like Bikram. This yoga works on strict guidelines and eventually you are able to self-practice anywhere. It is always a challange to get to the mat and practice. I think any exercise is a challange to some people. We know it is good for us, yet we shrink away and do what comes easy. Why is it that motivation towards the 'good' things in life is so hard to come by for some people?
Good question Sandra, it is self-sabotage! and the root of this is, what we truly think of ourselves.
If we do what is good for us we are demonstrating self love and respect for our body, mind and soul....
Tom, give it as go. It is an amazing journey within!
